I Second That Emotion.

When I saw this last week, I wondered what the "emotion of the Ferrari world" might be. But, after this weekend's Grand Prix, I am informed that it is "unhappy, but not angry". Does that mean they'll be selling Ferrari hankies and chocolates? I'm guessing it'll be a red shop.

Expect Ferrari tackiness. The shop in Beijing sells Ferrari telescopes and no doubt you've seen the Ferrari memory stick. All hideously expensive.

The BMW lifestyle shop however is one I might do a post about because while being the opposite of everything I think is important. They've bloody well nailed it good and proper.

It's the Frith lifestyle that is the golden opportunity for aspirational marketing. Fred really should have written about that.

Having checked out the website and seen them make a big deal out of a fucking red paper bag with the words 'Ferrari' on it [and a limited edition Ferrari Segway - I kid you not], I think the overwhelming emotion I feel about the whole concept is 'sick'.
